Pretty good brisket, not a crazy amount of fat, good bark and smoke. Little dry, but flaky and slathered in sauce was worthy. They've got 3 sauces, enjoyed the original. Our sides were potato salad - good, pinto beans - could use some spark, and fries - hot and delicious. There's a pickle bar and the sweet slices were spicy enough ya knew they had personality. Had a couple fountain drinks and bill was about $45 out the door. For a 4PM visit place was nearly empty, which is too bad as it looks like a great place to have a large gathering. Service was great and they seemed to care to get everything right.

Our go-to for unique BBQ when traveling thru Austin. The Pork Loin unmatched anywhere, and the sides are a refreshing change.

After having the food via a catering event, and being a rampant BBQ adventurer that travels all over this great state of Texas to try them as often as possible, we thought to try out the brick & mortar location. The staff is an absolute joy and very pleasant to interact with (the gold star for this particularlocation). Smells amazing. Has that great old town BBQ feel about the interior that takes me back to when I was a kid, spending lunches and dinners with the family. The food...it was not exactly what I remembered from the catering event, but was still filling. Chicken was a bit chewy on the exterior but delicious and moist on the interior, ribs and brisket were tender and juicy, the "chopped" beef needs more chopping to be considered chopped to help moisten the meat better with the sauce...and a better bun could be used to help assist with the flavor, the cheesey potatoes could use more seasoning and were dry on the interior, the fried okra could be crispier with better seasoning in the batter, along with the greenbean casserole which lacked the expected flavor (draining off the juice before mixing would dull down the over powering "wild" taste that these had), and Lord help t

here is what you need to know before coming to this location despite looking like a hole in the wall from the outside in the shared parking center with the gatti and Dollar Tree and such this is actually a very large indoor facility lots of tables and paper towels at each with condiments you get to go pick on your own and barbecue sauces they have a Chipotle a regular and a mango habanero I already died pound of brisket got my mom a baked potato stuffed with chicken both hit the spot along with the barbecue sauce they were very diligent and packets and barbecue sauces to go which is perfect event with friends tomorrow now just to go over some of the things that could be improved overall at this particular location The customer service was good a asked us diligent questions to make sure they got to order right as we were going through the line and God is checked out to gentleman at the check out was very diligent and making sure he found even my rewards points and rewards money and got his applied so everything from that standpoint went smoothly Not exactly sure why there are a few tables that were not cleaned A lot of turn their attention later today instead of gentleman com

Great lunch here today! I had the turkey plate with beans and corn casserole. Delicious!! Their bbq sauce was just right. Not too spicy. Plenty of seating inside and lots of free parking spots outside. I’ll be back!
